Oh terry- so I just walked into the lounge room, and what do I see....TAKEN OUT [V]! I despise this show with a passion. It is so immensely fake, and the fact that people need to go on television to find this kind of ‘relationship’ or even ‘love’ makes it all the more lame. Since when was it such a bad thing to wait around for a decent guy/girl! OH NO-let’s all be desperate 21 year olds and publish ourselves all over the Television.
I guess I’m coming across as a hater of the old ‘love’, but honestly I’m just sick and tired of friends and family talking about how crappy life is, because they can’t find that perfect other half. It’s Bullshit! [excuse my French] I don’t mind the fact that when i turn up to places everyone else is in a couple, it makes it so much easier to have a better time than everyone else. Just the other day I went to the movies with my long-time lover, my best friend, and as we were riding the elevator down to the car park, I thought to myself out loud. Life’s actually pretty flipping sweet at the moment. I haven’t been sick in months, I have made some pretty radical friends, and kept the best ones, I have almost everything I want and- no guys can screw it up. I could happily live this way for a few years. Why are all these young people so keen to impress and settle down so young. I want to live my life now, so I don’t feel guilty about living it later on.
